Rodney Wright is a Chicago based photographer born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, NY. Upon graduating from The State University of New York  at New Paltz he continued practical photography training with his cousin, acclaimed celebrity photographer Ronnie Wright. Rodney’s style of photography has been characterized as having a purposeful, quiet elegance.

He has photographed President Barack Obama, Michael Jordan, Kanye West, Juwan Howard, Boyz II Men, Jenifer Lewis, Atlanta Brave Dereck Lee, Juanita Jordan, Tennessee Titan Justin Staples, and Roberta Flack along with other notables. Some of his corporate/Institutional clients have been Nike, iHeart Media, HBO, Miller Coors, Midway Broadcasting Corp, DLA Piper, The City of Chicago, and K & L Gates.

Though Mr. Wright continues to photograph people and organizations of achievement, his passion lies with capturing the stories everyday people tell through his lens.
